Today is a New Day!

Hello!

So I don't really know who will read this, but I want to apologize right off the bat if I complain about work. I'm hoping that I won't do that, but you never know...

I am a seamstress, painter, artist, super hero, and many other things. Here's a little bit about me and then I'll tell you a little bit about why I decided to start a blog.

My name is Rebecca and I am 24 going on 25. I graduated from Central Michigan University with a B.A.A. in Entrepreneurship. I have been sewing for about 2 years, but only in 2009 did I really get serious about it. I've made several costumes and I hope this year I will make a lot more. I really enjoy making fantasy and Renaissance style costumes. I love painting and in 2009 I began to play with watercolors. It seems that 2009 was a really great year for me! Lots of new things began to happen. I find myself inspired by fantasy and all things mystical. Faeries seem to be the one thing I draw a lot of.

So... Why did I start this blog..? I started it because I hope that it will help me keep my goals for 2010. I am currently trying to put together the beginnings of a small business (yay for using my degree!). I love sewing a lot and I figured why not try to start something with it. I am still learning and still growing, but I think that I am at a stage where I could take a step forward. I suppose that's everything....

I hope that if anyone reads this blog they enjoy it (though I don't know how awesome it will be); maybe even offer some helpful sewing advice.

I suppose I should return to my day job and stop plotting... ^____^
